Unlike the classic joints in the area, Makejip (마케집) has a sleek, modern feel.

• Around 10 tables inside, plus semi-private spaces—not quite full rooms, but great for small groups.

What We Ordered & Honest Thoughts 👀

1️⃣ Assorted Fresh Sashimi (자연산 막회 - Small)

• At first, the portion looked small, but it turned out to be more than enough for four people.
• You can mix the sashimi with fresh veggies and seasoned sauce or wrap it in seaweed.
• The fish was super fresh, with no unpleasant chewy bits—smooth and buttery!

 

 

2️⃣ Langoustine (딱새우회)

• Originally, we wanted sweet shrimp (단새우), but they were out—so we got Langoustine (딱새우) instead.
• Absolutely delicious—sweet, plump, and perfectly chewy.
• If you love seafood, this is a must-try!

 

3️⃣ Seafood Ramyeon (해물라면)

• The grand finale—a bowl of spicy, umami-packed seafood ramen loaded with clams.
• The bean sprouts added a crunchy texture, making it an amazing drinking snack.
• Honestly… I don’t even fully remember the taste—I was too deep into the drinks at this point. 😂

• The water wasn’t just plain water (probably kelp-infused or something) → nice touch!
• Even the complimentary seaweed soup was excellent.
• Only downside? The bathroom is outside & unisex, which might be inconvenient.
